At the speed news moves now this may seem irrelevant, especially considering in the time its taken me to blog about the issue someone has made a whole episode of South Park about it. But it's worth talking about just to cut through the hysteria..
My Map
I have no problems posting this on here as firstly, not many people read this and secondly if you wanted to find out my movements it isn't necessary to have this map. Most people know I live in Guildford and work in Cranleigh. That explains the concentration of dots there.
I go to a lot of gigs in London. I tweeted about going to Cheltenham to see a mate & a gig in Gloucester. On my Facebook you can see pictures of a stag do I went to in Bristol. These all show up on the map but if you did wanna follow my movements you'd already know I've been to these places by looking at Flickr/Twitter/Facebook/Overhearing me in the pub.
The argument that if someone got a hold of your computer and viewed the files doesn't hold water either. If they're accessing your computer then THEY'RE ALREADY IN YOUR HOUSE AND HAVE PROBABLY ALREADY RAPED YOU.
